Hi! I’m so sorry for the wait. But I hope you enjoy it!

You appeared in a warehouse, looking out over a large group of demons closing in on two men and an angel. The three in the middle were hopelessly outnumbered and unless you acted immediately, you knew they would all die.
You revealed your grace, hoping that the three men you were attempting to save would realise what was going on and shield their eyes. The brilliant glow radiated from you and to your relief, they shielded their eyes as the demons around them dropped like flies.
Once they all lay on the ground, you allowed your grace to fade back down so that you could be seen by the men, who were starting to look around the room to work out where the source of light had come from.
“Castiel,” you called out to the angel. As soon as he heard your voice, he turned to you, his eyes widening in astonishment.
“Y/N?” he asked, crossing the room in quick strides to stand before you. “What are you doing here? I thought you were dead,” he continued, clasping your hands in his own.
“I was. But it would seem that I have been brought back.”
“But how?”
“What is it that the humans say? God works in mysterious ways?” you smiled. “Regardless, I am here now, which is fortunate for you, seeing as you and your friends here would have been dead without me,” you said, nodding towards the two men who were slowly approaching you.
“Y/N, this is Sam and Dean Winchester,” Castiel introduced you.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you,” you told them.
“Yeah, you too. We appreciate the help. But how did you find us? I thought Cas had ways of stopping other angels from tracking us,” the taller brother asked.
“Sam raises an interesting point. How did you find us?” Castiel asked.
“I’ve been searching for months for you. It was difficult, I admit, but I was not going to give up on my big brother. I just got lucky, I suppose.”
“Well, I’m glad you found us when you did,” Dean said. “That was some badass angel mojo you worked just then.”
You frowned. “I don’t understand.”
“He means that you were very helpful when you used your angel powers,” Sam explained.
“Oh. Thank you, Dean,” you said, smiling in his direction.
“Dean, we should probably sort this mess out. I’m sure these two would like a minute to catch up,” Sam suggested.
“Sure,” Dean agreed.
When they were out of earshot, you turned to Castiel. “I have missed you terribly, Castiel. Or should I say Cas? That’s what your human friends seem to be fond of calling you,” you teased.
“Yes, that is their nickname for me. I believe it makes me seem more human to them,” Castiel explained.
“Is that a good thing?” you frowned.
“I think it is,” Castiel answered. “These humans, with all their emotions…it’s really rather extraordinary.”
“I’m sure I’ll learn all about it. That is…if you’ll let me stay with you?” you asked uncertainly.
“Of course, Y/N. We’re family.”
You spun around at the sound of approaching footsteps. “So,” Dean began, “do you want to ride with us in the Impala, or would you rather do what Cas does, and teleport yourself back to the bunker?”
“No, I would love to ride with you in your car. Human experiences fascinate me, and I’d love to have a few of my own.”
“Alright then. Let’s go.”

When you made it back to the bunker, you stepped out of the Impala giddily. “That was incredible!” you exclaimed.
Dean had been watching you and he grinned. “I’m glad to see someone appreciates my driving, at least.”
“Oh, you were a magnificent driver, Dean!”
“Yeah, well, try telling Sammy that.”
“Why? Does he not approve of your methods? Should I speak to him?” you asked.
“No, no, I - it was a joke,” Dean explained.
“Oh.” You felt your cheeks heat up in embarrassment.
“Hey, don’t worry,” Dean reassured you. “All this human crap can be confusing. But you’re doing a great job at picking up on it.”
“Thank you,” you replied, a soft smile forming on your lips.
“Anytime,” Dean said, leading the way into the bunker.

That night, you were inspecting the kitchen appliances when you heard a voice behind you.
“Did it hurt when you fell from Heaven?”
You looked around to face Dean. “That was a rather insensitive thing to say, Dean,” you stated, hurt evident in your tone.
“Shit,” Dean muttered. “I didn’t mean it like that. I wasn’t thinking. It was just some stupid pick up line I was trying on you.”
“Pick up line?” you frowned, confused at this unfamiliar term.
“Uh, yeah,” Dean answered, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “It’s, uh, something you say to someone you like. It’s supposed to make them want to go on a date with you.”
“Are you saying that you like me, Dean Winchester?”
“Maybe,” he murmured.
“You don’t sound too sure,” you laughed.
“I - yes. I am trying to tell you I like you,” he said.
“I’m glad for that,” you told him. “Because I think I might be starting to feel similarly about you.”
